What to Confirm Before Ordering Stretch Film
Thickness, width, roll weight and core details all matter when ordering. A clear application brief helps with quotations, samples and delivery.
When ordering stretch film, describe the wrapping method and the goods as well as the quantity. A clear specification helps avoid repeated clarification when comparing samples and confirming delivery.

Describe the Application
State whether the film will be used by hand or machine, then provide load dimensions, weight, shape and typical wrapping volume. For machine use, include film carriage and pre-stretch details. If a film already works well in your operation, share its specification as a starting point.
Specify Thickness and Width with Units
Film thickness is commonly stated in micrometres (μm), and width in millimetres (mm). Include both in the quotation request and describe the desired wrapping result. Different loads and methods place different demands on film, so confirm suitability through practical trials.
Clarify Roll Weight and Core Details
State whether roll weight means net film weight or the total weight including the core. Also confirm core internal diameter, core length and roll outside diameter, especially where the roll must fit a machine or hand-held dispenser.
Confirm Delivery After the Sample Trial
After testing samples on representative loads, record the wrapping result, operating observations and agreed specification, then confirm quantity, outer packaging and delivery arrangements. Share these details with Rongli so that both sides can work from the same requirements.
